Tim Crane

Tim Crane is an owner and co-founder of American Prime General Construction, bringing hands-on experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to integrity into every project. With a background in construction and ethics rooted in the Marine Corps, Tim has helped build this company around the belief that homeowners deserve honest guidance, quality workmanship, and clear communication.

Tim has extensive experience overseeing residential and commercial projects, including roofing, exterior systems, interior rebuilds, and full storm-related restorations. He is well-versed in local building codes, the construction side of the insurance claim process, and best construction practices — providing the thorough documentation, detailed scopes of work, and code knowledge homeowners need, while ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to code.

His construction experience goes beyond storm restoration. Right out of high school he joined the Marine Corps, where he was an engineer overseeing multi-million dollar government construction projects. Following his military service, he went to school to be a hvac technician. He then started commissioning commercial buildings, where he was offered a job doing Research and Development for Johnson Controls. This ultimately led to him inventing a baffle that quietens commercial hvac units, where he was awarded a patent for his design. His well-rounded knowledge ensures you are covered in all aspects of your construction project.

When he’s not working on APGC, he’s working alongside his wife on his mini farm. With 5 kids and over 40 farm animals, they make sure to keep Tims hands full. None the less, this ensures Tim knows the value of taking care of family, where at American Prime General Construction, we treat all our clients like family.
