American Prime General Construction is the general contractor for the whole property: single-family rentals, townhomes, condos and apartment communities. Everyday repairs, make-readies, capital projects and 24/7 emergency response for water, storm and fire damage, under one contract.
One call. One scope. One schedule. One invoice.
Emergency? Call 469-888-8326. Answered 24/7.
For active emergencies in our DFW core service area, a crew is on site within 2 hours to stop further damage, secure the property and document the loss for you and the owner.
Water leaks and flooding
Source stopped by a Texas-licensed plumber, extraction and drying by a qualified mitigation partner we coordinate, moisture and photo documentation, then the rebuild.
Storm damage
Emergency roof tarping, boarding and securing storm openings, interior protection, and documentation for the insurance claim.
Fire damage
Emergency board-up and securing, smoke and soot cleanup through qualified remediation partners we coordinate, then full reconstruction.
When a single storm produces many calls at once, we dispatch in order of life-safety and active water intrusion first, and give every caller an arrival time.
Your work orders shouldn’t need five vendors.
A turn needs paint, flooring, a door, two fixtures and an outlet. A leak needs a plumber, a drying company and someone to rebuild the drywall. A hailstorm hits twelve buildings at once. Most managers end up coordinating three to five vendors, chasing schedules and matching invoices, while the unit sits empty or the tenant waits.
American Prime is one general contractor for all of it. We scope the whole job, run every trade, keep you updated with photos, and send one invoice that matches the work order.

Mold: licensed specialists, one accountable GC
A slow leak behind a wall or under a sink often turns into mold, and in an occupied unit that is a tenant-health issue that needs to be handled correctly. Mold is handled as its own specialty, separate from water mitigation. APGC does not perform mold assessment or remediation itself; as the general contractor, we oversee every trade, bring in licensed mold professionals, fix the cause and rebuild the unit once it passes clearance.
1. Independent, licensed assessment
A mold assessment consultant licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) inspects the property, takes samples where needed, and writes a remediation protocol that spells out the work areas, containment, protective equipment, cleaning methods and the clearance criteria.
2. Licensed remediation
A separate TDLR-licensed mold remediation contractor files the required TDLR notice on projects of 25 contiguous square feet or more, sets up containment, and removes or cleans the affected materials exactly as the protocol specifies. Texas does not allow the same licensee to assess and remediate the same project.
3. The cause gets fixed
APGC corrects the leak or moisture source that caused the growth, using Texas-licensed plumbers, roofing subcontractors or other trades as needed. Mold comes back if the water source is not fixed.
4. Clearance, then the rebuild
The assessor performs the post-remediation assessment. Only after clearance passes does APGC rebuild: insulation, drywall, flooring, cabinets, paint and trim, on one schedule and one invoice.
What you and the owner receive: the assessor’s protocol, the clearance results, photos of every stage, and the Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation, which must be provided within 10 days of the project’s completion. Texas requires a property owner who sells to give the buyer copies of every certificate issued for the property in the previous five years, so keep them in the property file.
How it works
Built for the way property managers work
Fast answers, no-charge estimates
Work orders acknowledged within 4 business hours. A written scope and price within 2 business days of the site visit, and estimates and bids are always provided at no charge.
Inside your NTE
No surprise overages. Anything above the approved amount gets photos and your sign-off first.
Photos on every job
Before, during and after photos you can send straight to the owner or the adjuster.
Net 30 vendor accounts
Approved property management accounts are invoiced Net 30. We provide our W-9 and certificate of insurance and register in your vendor portal.
Vetted trades, one accountable GC
Every trade is performed by vetted subcontractors, licensed where Texas requires it and carrying general liability insurance. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC are performed by Texas-licensed professionals, overseen and paid by APGC.
Insurance claims on rental and community properties
When a loss is covered by the owner’s or the association’s policy, American Prime works the claim as the contractor: we document the damage, write the repair scope, meet the adjuster and do the work. We do not interpret coverage or negotiate the claim for the owner; owners who want representation should speak with a licensed public adjuster or an attorney. The deductible is always the owner’s responsibility.
Roofs across a portfolio or community
Boards and owners want to know how much life a roof has left before they budget for it. American Prime provides roof inspections, and for a documented answer, a paid certified forensic roof report on asphalt shingle roofs by Joseph C. Miller II, BEI Certified Forensic Inspector, with condition, cause and photo evidence.

The 2-hour on-site response applies to active emergencies (water actively entering or spreading, storm openings in a roof or wall, and fire damage requiring board-up) in the DFW core service area of Dallas, Collin, Denton, Tarrant and Rockwall counties. Outside that area, and during widespread storm events, we give an arrival time when you call.
Water extraction and drying are performed by qualified mitigation partners coordinated by American Prime. Smoke and soot cleanup is performed by qualified remediation partners coordinated by American Prime.
